JAKARTA (UNAS) – In implementing regulation of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (PERMENRISTEK DIKTI) of the Republic of Indonesia Number 44 Year 2015 About the “National Standards for Higher Education,”the National Qualifications Framework Team Indonesia (KKNI) of UNAS chaired by Dr. Ucuk Darussalam, S.T., M.T along with other drafting team organizes “Workshop and Training on the Preparation of the Semester Lesson Plan (RPS), which refers to the National Standard of Higher Education (SNPT) for faculties of UNAS and the National Academies”. The training was held on Monday (27/2) at the hall of the 1st floor of block IV National University. The training was opened by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. IskandarFitri, S.T. M.T lasted for 6 days.
Interviewed after the training event Ucuk Darussalam as Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Information (FTKI) who is also a Chairman KKNI National University said that the purpose of training is conducted RPS is in addition to obey PermenRistek Higher Education No. 44 of 2015 also that the lecturers can design achievements of the learning courses that eventually can produce learning outcomes that have been set forth in passing the portfolio has been compiled by the editorial team of the curriculum of each – each course.
There are at least six things that must be designed by the faculty in preparing lesson plans per semester including the Learning Achievement Graduation, Achievement Learning Courses, Learning Material Assessment Criteria concerning, Duties and Allocation of Time. “It is expected that this training the lecturers can easily implement the learning process by using the RPS is thus able to produce graduates who are competent which has a specific specialization in sectors in accordance with the program of study they took during college so her later they can compete, comparable even recognized their capability nationally and internationally, “added Ucuk.
When met at the same time one of the participants who is also a lecturer at National University, Dr. RetnoWidowati admitted very excited with this activity due to the help of lecturers in preparing and designing a good teaching units that comply with the Department of Education of Indonesia. Besides other benefits that can be felt, said Retno, a student can easily know about the obligations and rights – their rights as contained in the portfolio which has been prepared by a team of authors in each subject.
